I didn't expect MUCH from the Perros Calientes / Colombian Hot Dogs, but I did expect more for $10. It's comically small, and they boil the dog rather than sear or grill it. The toppings are good, but you could probably make this yourself for less than a dollar in less than 5 minutes. It'll even be bigger because I don't think you can buy hotdogs this small in stores!

I've eaten here in the bar as well as take out, and it's always amazing!! The food is always hot and fresh. It's packed super well for takeout, too, so it's still hot and fresh when I get home. My favorites are the Arepa con Queso / Arepa with Cheese Only and beef arepa, as well as the Empanadas de Pollo (Cada Una) / Chicken Empanadas (Each). I also love the fresh salsa and guacamole! Everything is so flavorful! 10/10 recommend!

Limonada de Coco / Coconut Lemonade was amazing but the serving was a bit small. Coconut milk and lemonade. Arepa con Queso / Arepa with Cheese Only was also delicious. Great mix of sweet and savory. Salchipapas were pretty good and the portion was big. Great food overall.

The Salchipapas are possibly my family's favorite food. They are so tasty and fun. I also adore the Arepa con Queso / Arepa with Cheese Only. It has a hint of sweetness from the corn without being overwhelmingly sweet. We tried the Empanadas de Pollo (Cada Una) / Chicken Empanadas (Each) on a whim. They were pretty good, though they do benefit from a bit of sour cream or some other sauce (we are not big salsa people, but it did come with salsa and that would probably work well for that purpose). We would absolutely buy from here again!
