• 7/11/25It was not a good taste at all, the fufu was the worst I ever had. The vegetable soup looked like and tasted like it came from a can or frozen then spices were added. The only thing that was not too egregious was the jolof rice, but not good enough to order again.. very disappointing.

• 2/17/25This was a horrible experience I know what African food tastes like ive had it multiple times this is not real fufu it has been cut with instant potatoes i can taste the difference its very insulting to serve food under false advertisement the vegetable soup is just pea and carrots in tomato sauce this place is a huge rip off

• 6/15/25I love West African food, but the food herewas just "ok." I ordered Egusi Soup, Peanut Butter Soup, Pounded Yam (Fufu), and Fried Plantain. I'll start by echoing what a previous review said and confirm that they do dilute their Fufu with potato and that its obvious in the flavor. The plaintain were too green and undercooked and because they were too green and undercooked, flavorless and over-starchy. The Peanut Butter Soup was more tomato, chicken, and spice forward (not heat, spices) than I am used to (I prefer a much more pronounced peanut flavor) but adequate. The Egusi is exactly what you expect it to be: filling, flavorful, West African comfort food done perfectly.
I will be back to try some of their other dishes and would recommend the Egusi.

• 4/26/25I don’t know what I just received as fufu or what ever it was smelled spoiled and dense . It was a ball of dough and it was watery. The goat soup ok . It wasn’t what I thought but at least it’s edible. That ball of dough was not acceptable I spent $30 for this mess . Not acceptable !!!!!!
