• 3/21/26This is my maybe 5th time ordering from this restaurant because I usually love the food and get the Jamaican jerk chicken everytime. However this time I felt the quality of the plantain and rice was lacking. It didn't taste fresh like usual almost like it had been sitting out for a while. My only other complaint is the amount of plantain they give you doesn't feel worth is for $30. You get maybe 4 pieces but an abundance of rice and chicken. Usually very happy with my food this time just not as much.

• 9/7/25Food is completely overpriced. Not worth the cost at all. Meat was so small and not tender at all. The rice and peas was pleasantly tasty. The cabbage was very small, about 2and a half tablespoons spoons worth if that. Price In store is wayyyyy less than on doodash. Meat pie is $12 for one. In store it's $6.

• 5/30/26The Extra Fried Plantain is delicious. I will say that the Nigerian Beef Pepper Soup is super spicy and fragrant. I love spice so I don't mind it, especially added with white rice, but the meat portion is a bit off. There's a lot of broth and it's low on the meat. But overall, good flavors. I just don't know if the portions are worth the price.

• 5/24/25I love this place, I really do. The food is always good. However, I get the platter in hopes of getting a decent portion of meat. I'm disappointed with the cost of the platter in relation to what you really get for the price, in my opinion it's not worth it. The platter, as you can see, is more rice than meat and it costs over $45. Thats 2 pieces of chicken and about 1/2 cup of veggies...for over $45.
I don't mind paying for good wholesome food, but it needs to make sense from a quantity AND quality perspective.
