• 12/22/24The amount of garlic sauce on the bowl was very heavy and there was very little chicken. Very pricey for the small amount of food. The side of rice was good, but, over 5$ for a side of rice? The chimichurri was almost too salty to eat, even when mixed up with the rice. order did arrive quickly.

I typically get their food via delivery but I love their food so much that I'm going to visit the restaurant in person and try some of their other dishes beyond the Culantro Bowl and their awesome Maduros Frito(fried plantains) that I keep getting because they're just too good to try anything else; that's Culantro's one true Achilles' Heel: they're so good that you're likely to fall in love with the Culantro Bowl and Maduros Frito and never try anything else.
The shame is mine; so I'll force myself to try something else.
The ingredients are extremely fresh and high quality, everything is delicious and presented extremely well.
Culantro is one of my favorite restaurants of any type, in any area of Michigan.
To the owners, operators and staff: kudos--
I shamelessly admit to being a fanboy of your awesome restaurant, which is a direct reflection of each one of you.

• 3/23/25Alfajores was good but didn't realize it's only one cookie for $6. Carnipapas was delicious. tender steak. Chicha Morada was soooo good. perfect sweetness and flavor

• 4/28/26I got the Lomo Saltado with a green sauce . Green Extra Sauces was spicy (although it reads mild) but I liked it . The Lomi was so good! The meet was great (not overcooked) and flavorful.
I would have like a few more French fries in it but overall will come back! Might be a new favorite spot

• 12/27/25The Flan was the best I have ever had. It was a bigger portion than I expected. The Culantro Bowl was SO above and beyond. It all tasted super fresh, and extremely delicious. I've never had anything like it. I would without a doubt order again.
