"The chicken in the bowl I ordered was dried out and more of like I jerky, it didn't seem very fresh, I couldn't eat that. The paper bowl it came in was very flimsy, I felt like the bottom was going to fall off. "I would not recommend this place for value or comforting flavor. I got the 2 Tacos Meal which was $16. That's $16 for two tacos and some beans and rice. It's extra to pick meat for the 2 Tacos Meal, so I tried the frijolitos negros y mushrooms al pastor. The frijolitos were OK, nothing special but nothing bad. The mushrooms seemed to be whole canned mushroom slices marinated with some kind of slimy onion slices. The rice was also weird. I liked the whole peas and carrot cubes, but the rice had a strong Worcestershire flavor, not something I would've expected. Worse, it was served in a pre-portioned plastic tray with small wells for the rice and beans, which means you get less than the customary 4 oz. side portion of each. I would not pickup or order from this place again, especially with all the better options in the area."

I'm currently on a low-carb diet, so I was totally bummed since I can't eat the rice! I called the restaurant to let them know what happened and was extremely impressed with Pita Kabob's customer service. The employee I spoke with apologized, refunded my payment, and advised me to place a replacement order. Since I'm really hungry, I've been picking pieces of meat out and nibbling at the veggies as I wait for my new order... this food is REALLY good! The lamb & chicken has great flavor with a perfect texture - obviously fresh and not dried out at all. The Baba Ghannouj Dip is probably the best I've tasted. Since I was really looking forward to my hummus dish, I'm waiting until it arrives so I can enjoy everything together as intended, but this is so good it's making it very difficult! I've never ordered from here until tonight; I'm eating later than usual so I just chose a place that was open and had chicken with hummus - I was pleasantly surprised to see this mixed dish with both chicken and lamb. I'm honestly kinda thankful my usual place was closed because it led me to discovering Pita Kabob Grill! Nobody's perfect and all humans make mistakes, so I'm not even upset about the incorrect item since it's been corrected with no problems. I will definitely continue ordering from here!
