Taste was good (not too fancy) but not worth the price. the dumpling are expensive. I would rather suggest to go Neptune or other chinese restaurant. Prices are comparable with Earls / Catcus but not the food. I cannot comment on Ambience since this was order through doordash. but even with the Ambience a 5 star is highly unlikely

Din Tai Fung is my favourite restaurant in Taiwan, and I am so happy it finally opened one in Vancouver! I ordered 4 dishes for lunch today and every dish was delicious! They were also packed carefully (with sticker labels indicating what's in each box or container) in the beautiful Din Tai Fung paper bag. Will definitely order again!!

Everything was tasty but the XLBs (pork and chocolate) arrived a bit cold so had to reheat them. Portion of the Noodles with Sesame Sauce seemed small compared to dining-in. Not enough to knock a star down. The Hot & Sour Soup was delicious and had tons of ingredients.
Overall, nicely packaged food, condiments and utensils. Lots of attention to detail.

Just ordered for the first time. Spend $80 for 4 dishes. which sounds somewhat reasonable, right? well then i looked at what they actually provided and it was a dinner for 1 person. stick to your go to chinese food restaurant that provides decent portions. Its time to take a stand against "shrinkflation"

Shanghai Rice Cakes with Chicken was full of rice cake hardly any chicken.
Wont be my go to place for Chinese, its ok there are way better Chinese food out there
