Employees are super kind and friendly. Food is always a 10/10. The kind lady who works the front recognizes me everytime I come in and had the barbecue sauce in my bag without me even asking, haha! I work in food service, also, and I am ever so grateful for the employees who always make my after-work lunch a nice experience. I hope this place stays around.
Being a vegan around the Waldorf area isn't easy but, this place delivers delicious vegan food at a very affordable price!

I ordered the strawberry cake on the side and for $7.50, they gave me the smallest piece and the cake was very dry. Also, my general tso cauliflower had burnt pieces mixed in and I couleat all of it. I normally have a decent experience but I was disappointed this time

I used to love Dodah’s Kitchen, but unfortunately the quality has really slipped since new staff came on. I’m attaching photos to show the difference: two from 2023–2024, and two from 2025. The change is obvious.
The General Tso Cauliflower used to be one of the best dishes on the menu—crispy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. Lately, it’s been the complete opposite. Twice now I’ve ordered it and received a mushy mess. Instead of nice cauliflower florets, it seems like they’re chopping it into tiny bits, tossing those in batter, and dropping them in the fryer. What comes out is soggy batter with hard little pieces that you can’t even chew. Definitely not the same dish I once looked forward to.
I even tried calling to share feedback, but my call went straight to voicemail. Things have just felt sloppy overall since the previous manager left. She was always efficient, friendly, and made sure the food came out right. The new gentleman is polite, but I’ve noticed things like his phone sitting on the serving table playing videos, and the overall care with food prep has really gone downhill.
I’m disappointed because Dodah’s Kitchen used to set the standard for quality vegan food, and now it feels like they’ve lost that consistency. I really hope they take this feedback seriously and bring back the excellence they once had.

The food is a hit and miss. I've been to Dodah's several times and the food porportions have been cut down and the prices raised, even when paying for double portions. I'm paying for dry drummies that dont have sauce and getting fewer of them for a higher price. That's a convenient thing to do being there is no competition in the area like it is in DC and closer surrounding areas. Definitely won't be coming here often.

Skip the cakes. They're not good. I wouldn't order again. The portions are huge, but they don't have the freshness of a cake. It's more like a large cake pop texture. I wish I didn't buy 3 of them.
