Their guacamole is the best around. My Patron Marg was well made. The individual margaritas are a better deal than the pitcher. My Nachos were perfect in proportion and flavor.

A super burrito with no cheese. Just soggy shredded chicken, black beans and rice was all I got. Good custom service but the food is bland and the meat is chewy. Could have been better for a $20 order.

Flavor of the food is consistently good. This order was delivered with no spillage. My problem is the missed items for multiple orders in a row. The Nachos, the Sizzling Fajitas x1 and the Taco Ricos (6) should have included guacamole and sour cream. I should have also received at least 2 cups of salsa. I received only 1 cup of salsa with the entire order. Come on Don José - you need to do better. Taco Ricos (6) and Nachos with no guacamole or sour cream? Whoever is doing your packing is doing a horrible job. My wife and I order food maybe twice a month with Don Jose's being our #1 place. Missing sides takes away from the food ordered and makes us question if you are worth the cost of ordering your food. Your DoorDash menu charges $4.50 for a side of guacamole. That means I missed out on $9 in sides. Do Better Quality Control.

It has lots of good points. Real guacamole. Responsible packaging. Clean tasting ingredients. But it's kinda bland and not very generous. My Compuesta Salad was a pile of meat w only 3 chips and very little lettuce. The Combotizer was okay but only 2 taquitos? and the chicken wasn't great. I love that they're family owned and a beautiful restaurant. I hope they can learn to meet the needs of CA's snobby food needs. Add some spice and fresh vegetables and quality cheese. Still the cleanest and least greasy Mexican food I've found out here.

The flan was ok. The taquitos were nothing special. The tamale was small and over cooked. Frozen taquitos and tamales at Costco are way better. Won't order from here again.
