Consistently one of the best Mexican restaurants in town. Packaged so contentiously and portioned perfectly. You can't go wrong with anything on their menu. Not to mention the price point for the area is unmatched. They always include a big bag of chips & salsa which I really appreciate and a copy of their menu.

This is my favorite mexican restaurant. However, I do not recommend door dashing from them. They get our order wrong 4/5 times, sometimes, not even putting the order in until the dasher gets there. It's very frustrating, especially being that I am always ordering for lunches at a business.

I especially love Mama's Favorite Enchilada Dinner (2)Queso Cup . I love everything else, too, but MFED & QC are my favs

Ordered a "White" queso and got a very thin, with chunks, greasy orange (cheddar?) version.
Ordered the an enchiladas dinner that was supposed to come with beans and rice but got no beans at all. So only a third of the meal for a 100% price.
Not impressed. Won't bother eating here again. Second time I've gotten this horrible Queso

I have not eaten at El Chicos for several years. I had forgotten how good their salsa and chips, queso, and guacamole are. And the sour cream chicken enchiladas were really good too!
