El Malo Tacos is on a mission to bring street tacos and comfort foods to Plaza Midwood, inspired by the taquerias of Tijuana, Mexico, and the surfside taco shops of San Diego, CA.
This was the best burrito I have ever had in my life. It was a crazy amount of food, but I want another one immediately. The Burrito Birria is phenomenal and we will be ordering this again and again. 10/10

This place is AMAZING. Fresh, homemade tortillas make all the difference and the portion sizes are huge. All of my west coasters, this is the Mexican food we've been looking for. Add pastor to the breakfast burrito and dont sleep on the Burrito Bean And Cheese! Pickled veggies , fresh salsas and wonderful staff. Been waiting five years for a place like this to open. Give it a shot

Everything was really good. We didn't get the Tres Leches though so I'm taking off a star. I had the Quesadilla Pollo Adobado and Taco Birria. The meat servings are generous and it was all cooked perfectly. The food was fresh and flavorful. We will order from here again to give them another chance to get our order right. It was $10 for that cake.

Burrito California was worth the price. Massive, spicy, and delicious. Salsa and guac are great also. Highly recommend.

I mean it is called "MALO" tacos so I shouldn't be surprised that everything was pretty bland and malo. Chips And Guac needed salt and more lime....and everything. I think I paid 8 bucks for one Taco Campechano and it was a letdown (I thought it was three tacos). Burrito Carne Asada was large but lacked flavor. No mas
