The crispy tacos...
I ordered NO LETTUCE
IT WAS ALL LETTUCE!
The chicken looks literally is SMASHED CHICKEN MUSH! And they put the lettuce on the taco to hide the fact that they're too cheap to use chunks of fresh hot grilled chicken in the tacos! I cut the burtito n half to view the REAL WHITE CHICKEN that I paid extra for. Its really hit bottom since the 80s when there was 1 el pollo loco on East Chapman in East Orange befire you head over the hill toward Irvine Lake. There shouldn't be a distinction of what item gets what "chicken". A $5 taco shouldn't be a 1/4" thick mush. It should look like it use to. Fresh grilled chicken breast anf thigh cut from the bone. Belly UP El Pollo!

Its a long ways back to what it was. I went to El Pollo Loco in East Chapman Ave in Orange back in 1987. It was delicious Chicken only grilling right there behind the cashier in plain sight. The legs, breasts, thighs were huge. And it was so delicious with a buttery lemon taste. No burritos, no tacos. Chicken! 3pieces with a fountain coke, there was corn tortillas and corn on the cob I believe. This order 2 nights ago...A BRC burrito was fine. Kind of hard to mess up. I got the hot salsa which was better. The tacos...Mushy almost ground chicken...brown lettuce. Brokrn shells. No cheese, no rice. It was a mess. Wet...greasy. Back in the Spring these tacos were delicious. White chicken meat. What happened?

Food did not taste good. Chicken was over cooked, beans had a weird taste as well.

The BRC burrito was half the size it should be for almost $5! It's about half the size of a Taco Bell bean and chesse burrito!! What a rip off! Took 45 min to get 2 miles away too.

everything was burnt, cold, and hardly any meat. It was 90% burnt skin on bone.
