• 9/5/24The flavors remind me of a little place I usedto visit located in the back of a Mexican grocer's. It isnt "fancy" by anystretch of the imagibation but the glavorsare quite nice.
The guacamole is quite rich and the cheese enchiladas have a divine amount of cheese. The standout for me was the chile Pablano, I will definitely be ordering that again.

• 6/10/25This was amazing! I hadn't been to Esmaralda's in a while and had never tried their Puffy Tacos til tonight, but I have been missing out! The ground beef was especially good- it had a surprising amount of flavor, and the shells were really crispy. Like a more portable version of a taco salad :) This with some French fries was a nice change to the usual Mexican dishes (although their chimichangas are also great). I only had half the order of fries in the photo and that was plenty to fill me up. Will definitely order this again!

• 3/18/26This is the best Mexican food in Marion. Every single thing I've ordered has been delicious, fresh, and exactly as described.
I'm planning to try the whole menu, but the Marion Special, all of the tortas, all the enchiladas, all of the tacos, and the Quesadilla de Camarón / Shrimp Quesadilla are amazing. Portions are generous and affordable.

• 7/16/26The Queso was very good, as well as the salsa and chips. The Marion Special was very tasty. It had 4 items so it was nice to try different things in one meal. It had a chimichanga, a burrito, an enchilada and a poblano pepper. I have to say it was very delicious and satisfying. For me, it was just the right amount of food. But not enough for leftovers. :( I would definitely order it again and probably soon. I ordered a Mexican Coke too, but unfortunately I didn't get to drink it. I put it in the freezer right when it was dropped off. I remembered it late last night. Oops it was frozen solid. I put it in a bag in the fridge to thaw overnight. Big mess to clean up this morning. Lesson learned but I still want to try it!!

1. the Huevos con Chorizo / Eggs With Chorizowas great! A+
2. the Jalapeños Toreados / Blistered Jalapeños And onions were incredible!A+
3. the Tortillas corn were small but flavourful. B+
4. The cheese Enchiladas were up to expectations and I would order them again. A-
The Asada, Puffy taco (Ground beef) lettuce, Sour cream, pico de gallo, and queso and the Ground Beef American Supreme left something to be desired. The pictures led you to believe that each contained three tacos, when all you get is one of each.
1. The Asada was a small tortilla packed with ground beef to the point where you couldn't pick it up without the hamburger dribbling out both ends. Basically just hamburger and a tortilla.
2. The Puffy taco couldn't be picked up because the tortilla was buried under a mountain of ingredients, forcing me to attempt to eat it with a spoon. Problem was they put paper towels in the container.
3. the American taco was the closest of the three.
