I often order from Ewa Pointe Chinese & it's always been tasty.
The #1. Spring Rolls (4) were crispy & filled w/tasty veggies.
Usually the #55. Sweet And Sour Spareribs is soft & tender, but today was a bit tougher. It was still edible & full of flavor.
This is #80. Black Mushroom With Snow Peas is one of my favorite dishes. Chunks of mushrooms, bamboo shoots & Snow Peas. This is a light & fresh dish to complement the heavier ones.
As always the #148. Crispy Gau Gee Mein is another one of my favorites dishes & never disappoints me. It's noodles paired with the mixed veggies & variety of meats/seafood
The #174. Char Siu Fried Rice is loaded with tender pieces of char siu &the rice was cooked to perfection.

The Char Siu Fried Rice was a hit with our kids; lots of flavor and tasted great. 39. Peking Duck and bun 1/2 size generous portion size and the skin on the duck was very crispy. Would definitely order this again.

We were being lazy tonight and wanted chinese. Unfortunately, the chinese place we like closed, and where we live (Palisades) doesn't have too many options nearby on DD (the two options we were told are good are in Aiea and we didn't want to drive), so after spending some time reading the reviews, I chose Ewa Pointe Chinese to try.
Overall, we agree with what I've seen others say that what you get isn't worth the price. We got 10 dishes for $180, and it all fit in a strawberries box from Costco when the Dasher brought it. We doubled up on 1. Spring Rolls (4) and the 138. Beef Or Pork Chow Mein With Mix Vegetables . The other dishes were quite small sized, coming in the smallest take out container. We were surprised at how small because it was meant to be for 4 people.
The 7. Wonton Soup had little flavor, 32. Minute Chicken (Boneless) is okay... pieces were good, small/bite size and cooked well, maybe a little dry. 1. Spring Rolls (4) were too oily so we gave it a thumbs down. 3. Crispy Gau Gee (8) was alright. 44. Pork Or Beef Broccoli we got Beef and it had not a lot of flavor also. Cake noodle we subbed in for the 138. Beef Or Pork Chow Mein With Mix Vegetables was cooked per my instructions of "crispier," yay! However, the option to have the sauce separate comes with an added charge, so I didn't pick it, but I should have. There almost wasn't enough sauce on the dish, we got two plates, and I'm bummed cuz when I wanna eat the leftovers tomorrow, it won't have enough sauce and the noodles might be stale-ish textured. Most other chinese places we've ordered from before always pack the sauce/veggies separate from the cake noodles, so you can pour it on yourself when you get it and are ready to eat. I made that assumption here, so I didn't put it in special instructions (wasn't sure I could) nor did I want to pay the extra charge to have it separate as the option said.
We probably won't order from here again and will try another place. My dasher was great!

Portion size is really small for 15 do and thats with no sides not even rice. The kungpow chicken was so bland and my hus beef and br had bro so hard he cou even chew it! We will never eat here again.

The 38. Roast Duck was delicious, with the right amount of saltiness. The 97. Salted Pepper Shrimp (Shell On) ( got it without the shell had alot of red chili's) and the 108. Steamed Fish Fillet With Ginger & Green Onion.... both were sooo ONO. Finally, the 139. Beef Or Pork Chow Mein With Broccoli we ordered with beef and CAKE NOODLES!! =chefs 💋 😘
