Ah man, I really wanted to love this. Everything I tried that was battered and fried had a great outside, but sad insides.
I've been trying Korean corn dogs everywhere I can in the area and I was pretty disappointed with the meat in this one. Most other places offer all beef. I'm not even sure if this one was fish or pork. It was described as "hot dogs, cheese, rice cakes, fried in a batter on a stick and dressed with sugar, ketchup." The meat almost looked like a dried out vienna sausage but tasted and smelled incredibly fishy, so I'm not sure if it's actually a fish cake type product and just not listed as such? Cheese was standard and had a nice pull. The rice-flour batter (I'm assuming what they're referring to as 'rice cakes') was perfect and hit the spot with that mochi/chewy bite. If I were scoring for this coating alone I'd give it 5/5.
The "nuggets" had a strong umami taste and seem to be made with especially chewy dark meat. This is not the kind of chewy I was looking for. The batter was perfect again here, fried to the crispiest bite, but I found myself unable to eat the actual meat.
I don't recommend ordering the popcorn mandu for delivery. It just doesn't hold well and arrived soggy even with upcharging for direct delivery and asking for the sauce on the side. The shredded cheese was enough to trap steam and soften it up. I've got to say I was also not impressed with the flavor of the filling here either.
I'd still suggest trying this, but not via delivery. I'd recommend visiting in person where you can ask questions and interact with the folks making the food. It's possible DoorDash just doesn't have accurate descriptions, or maybe they season everything with a specific flavor that is off-putting to me.

Very big rice portion and sauce on top was delicious!
Everything was hot and fresh. 100/100 will we ordering again.

The chicken was crispy and good but the rice had some sort of sauce and crispy bits that I didn't like and wish it would had been plain white rice. The Korean french corn dog was good I thought it was gonna have hot dog in it but it was only cheese. The corn dog was also really small like half of a normal sized one so that was disappointing as well probably won't order from here again
