• 6/16/26Their dedication to quality is impressive. I highly recommend this restaurant for those days you crave quality over quantity. it's worth the price.
Don't sleep on their boneless Nkwobi!

• 8/4/25If I could give this egusi 10 stars I'd give it 20!! Just the right amount of spice and perfectly seasoned! I choose cutfish and that disappoint either! Please try it if you're thinking about it you won't regret it!

• 9/2/23The Smothered Pork Chops were too salty & overcooked--mostly inedible and thrown out. Candied yams & black beans/rice were good. Jollof rice was too salty & over seasoned. The beef was 4 small pieces of mostly fat. $21 for a container of overly salted rice is not worth it. I like Jollof Rice but this one did not have a good flavor. It might be a preference thing but this version of Jollof was not preferred. The coconut rice was mediocre. The sides were good and were eaten. The plantains were very delicious. The entire order was crammed into a bag that was too small and everything leaked into everything else. When the bag was opened sauce went everywhere. Starting the meal with kitchen clean-up was irritating. Would maybe order the sides again, but the main dishes were way too expensive for the quality & taste. For an $85 order (before tax, tip & fees) it should be better than inedible mains and a bunch of decent sides.

• 3/14/25Okra Soup needed more seasoning and the meat in both was very tough ! Not tender at all like wow ! & far the Egusi Soup the flavor was there ! But meat was the same. My three stars are coming from the size of the containers and the flavor of the Egusi Soup.

• 3/21/26I got the Vegetable Soup ( Edikaikong) and this is probably one of the best soups I've had in the DFW area. It took an hour to get to me but yet it was still fresh, flavorful, and spicyyy. 9.5/10
