I've been eating at golden ocean with my family for 26 years (or however long they've been open for). The customer service is also pretty good, even when they are very busy.
I would have to say that it's the best dim sum in vancouver and they are always consistent. Most dishes taste the same as they have since I was a child. The portions are fair and the food is always fresh. If your are looking for high quality Chinese food, Golden Ocean should be your go to. I don't think we've ever tried a dish we didn't like.

cod & lotus roots are good. Steamed Minced Pork with Preserved Vegetables / 梅菜蒸豬肉餅 taste stale,threw away.
