First time ordering from here, wanted a place that cooks like home cooking. And I found it, everything was hot and fresh. Fish & Shrimp Plate (only on Fridays) was (1) fish filet and (5) Gulf coast shrimp). Seasoned perfectly and well worth the price. Chopped Beef Sandwich & Potato (Chopped Beef) were fresh and loaded with meat. BBQ was delicious. Desserts was good size and all were delicious. If you're looking for home cooking then try this place! Highly recommended

For the price, it will get you full. The Chopped Beef Sandwich was cooked perfectly and the bread was soft; however, I just wish the meat was bit more seasoned. Additionally, the sandwich is also recommended to have sauce added to it. The French Fries were bland and too skinny, was not a fan of it.

Rib Plate was just ok, ribs were kinda tough and the sides. Cabbage was too spicy and Mac and Cheese was watery with not much taste. Potato (Plain) was good but was smaller than other times we ordered. Sliced Brisket Sandwich was good as always. On the menu they offer No Sauce or Extra Sauce for $1.00. If you choose No Sauce you don't get any sauce and if you pay the $1.00 you get sauce and extra sauce. It's confusing because I want sauce on my meat but don't need extra sauce. You don't get sauce unless you pay for extra. Which is wrong..

Cajun Boudin it was all ok dried up link. They disregarded my simple request for adding hot sauce. Cheap maybe?Oxtail Stew this was funky but ok. I wished they desperated the rice and mixed vegetables from the stew because it became a gelatinous mess. Potato Salad if you like candied potato salad with no zing, tanginess, and hint of sweetness then here is a rare winner. I personally did not like the potato salad. I threw it away. My moms diabetes monitor was going off if that helps give you an idea.
