Just had the Grango fajita meal via DoorDash, and it was on point. The steak was super tender and packed with flavor – seriously good stuff. Portion size? Perfect.
Paid $36.46, including a $4 tip, which felt a bit high, but that's what you expect for the upcharge. The quality and amount made it worth it. Overall, a solid meal that’s totally worth it. Definitely ordering this again!

• 6/4/26The cheese enchiladas were cold and it did not take Delivery long to get here so it wasn't their fault. The chips were stale and only had a small amount for two orders of food. They only gave about a teaspoon of guacamole on the order!!! We've ordered from there plenty of times and today must've been their off day because we were definitely dissatisfied with the food overall!!!

• 8/17/24Gringo's has good food, but some items should not be available for delivery or take out because of the way they package them. I agree with the review that said crunchy tacos should come deconstructed. The taco & chalupa were soggy and cold. We paid for fast service and the dasher delivered it quickly. But I noticed she had to wait a long time for the order. They assembled some of the order too soon while the rest of it was cooking. I chose double rice, no beans, and got one side of rice only. The side of grilled zucchini was a good portion, but the side of ground beef for nearly $5 was only slightly more than the red & green sauce. Overall most of the portions were small. Everything tasted great, but for the cost, the value just isn't there. I think you get more when you eat in, and at least the food is hot.

• 4/8/25Finally!!! Some amazing Mexican food in Houston!!! After trying half a dozen Mexican spots and they all let us down or were very inconsistent or just garbage we finally found good Mexican food. This is THE spot for Mexican food in southern Houston. Haven't tried their sister store Jimmy changas yet but Gringos is absolutely phenomenal. We tried so many dishes and not a single one was bad. Every single thing was absolutely incredible from the seafood to the tacos to the burritos and even the salsa, it was all spectacular. We will no longer waste our time or money on any other Mexican place, Gringos is our go to spot from now on. We might try Jimmy Changas just to see if it's just as good, but Gringos is the standard from now on.
The rice and refried beans are incredible, whether it be the Mexican rice and refried beans or the cilantro rice both are awesome. Their chips are perfect so many places the chips are stale, or too thick, or too thin, or not salted but these were as close to perfect as a chip as we have had from a Mexican restaurant.
Can't wait to try all their other dishes in the future. Highly recommended as the best overall Mexican food in the sourhern Houston. Some places have an item or two they might make well but everything else on their menu is terrible. Gringos on the other hand makes EVERYTHING amazing so why waste time or money anywhere else.
