I'm considering calling Guadalajara the best restaurant in Oakland. The Chile Verde is like I used to eat as a child. Rice and beans are cooked to perfection. The are amazing, better than most restaurants. Tortillas steamed just right. A great Mexican dish.

Let me start by saying that this SUPER BURRITO is FAT! I was worried I was gonna pay for a SUPER BURRITO but get a mini one. First bite in, theres flavorrrr. The steak isn't too tough, the rice is so flavorful and fluffy. I asked for new beans & they listened! I usually only get food from street vendors in the Town (Oak)  so my expectations were high. Wasn't bad at all!

Portion is Huge, Was worth the $20 & could literally feed two . They listened to my instructions which was a plus because some restaurants ignore the instructions . The food was fresh and i will be ordering again . one of the best spots for burritos in oakland

Usually this place is incredible, but this time it just sucked all around. Bland and flavorless and the quesadilla was tiny. Compared to the A La Carte quesadilla, the one ordered was  a fraction of the size and twice as expensive, but included beans and rice. Bad value. Figure out your menu pricing.

This is some of the best Mexican I've had in a while. The chicken soup is so so good, green enchiladas superb, even the rice and beans are out of this world. Portions are large, what I ordered for myself could feed a family of four. Great food, great value.
