The hype is real for this place , the chicken and the sides are what down home family cooking is all about. Great flavor perfect texture. And mind blowing food. And I dare you to get dessert. Pies that want to make you want to cry.

Hands down the best fried chicken in AZ, the pieces were a good size, perfectly crisp and seasoned beautifully. The Corn Nuggets are an absolute must, don't skip them!! Everything was extremely fresh and I cannot wait till I order again, because I definitely will be. Thanks Gus's!

First time trying and It's so good, if I ever crave southern food this is the spot. The Fried Green Tomatoes were hot and crispy, Mac and cheese was solid, Cole slaw was fresh and crispy, and the chicken is so bomb. That kick of spice is everythinggg. 10/10

Super TINY pieces of chicken. Tasty and juicy but c'mon the drum stick was about the size of what you'd get at WingStop I hope I can load a pic I took. So, disappointing $25 for 6 pieces of barely an appetizer worth of chicken delivered literally in a wet brown paper lunch bag inside a plastic bag.

I definitely see why this place is alm 5 stars. The chicken in the three 3 Piece Dark Plate is amazing. super crispy without just being over breaded. The fries baked beans were solid. The Sweet Pot Pie *Slice was just "ok" really. The Sweet Tea idfuee but my only complaint is that its like a med size. If youre only going to have one size lets get 32oz and charge me the 4bucks.
