The hype is real for this place , the chicken and the sides are what down home family cooking is all about. Great flavor perfect texture. And mind blowing food. And I dare you to get dessert. Pies that want to make you want to cry.

First time trying Gus's. The Chicken 4 Piece Tender Plate, although a little pricey, was cooked beautifully and the mac n cheese was cheesy and hearty. One of the 3 Piece Dark Plates was cooked beautifully, while the other was overcooked to the point chicken pieces were hard to pull away. The coleslaw had a perfect amount of sweet and creaminess. The beans seemed to taste good but was really hard to decifer the taste because the coleslaw sauce invaded the beans. The Chicken Sandwich Combo was just two small tenders thrown on a bun. We paid $1.10 extra for a piece of American cheese and received pickles when we asked for them to be removed. It also shouldn't be called a combo but a chicken sandwich with a taste of a side because the side was so small all it was wa a tease. All in all, we would definitely try Gus's again and see if we cant get that 5 star meal, maybe in person next timethough.

Hands down the best fried chicken in AZ, the pieces were a good size, perfectly crisp and seasoned beautifully. The Corn Nuggets are an absolute must, don't skip them!! Everything was extremely fresh and I cannot wait till I order again, because I definitely will be. Thanks Gus's!

The food looked good but definitelylacked flavor. Highly disappointing! , The chicken was dry. The greens were boiled without seasoning. The potato salad was overly sweet with too much mayo and sugar. The only enjoyable item was the okra. The fried green tomatoes were mostly batter and no tomato. Do not waste your money.

Super TINY pieces of chicken. Tasty and juicy but c'mon the drum stick was about the size of what you'd get at WingStop I hope I can load a pic I took. So, disappointing $25 for 6 pieces of barely an appetizer worth of chicken delivered literally in a wet brown paper lunch bag inside a plastic bag.
