• 9/28/24This was our first time trying Gus's. we live about 2 hours from Memphis and all my boss & coworkers talk about is how good their chicken is... well it's absolutely worth all the hype! the chicken was so tender and juicy and just a tad spicy it was the best! their Mac, potato salad, and season fries were equally as delicious and their chocolate pie tastes just like how my Nana used to make hers! seriously couldn't be happier with this meal! not to mention we had a pretty big order in total and the food was done quickly. we definitely will be back!

• 8/7/25chicken was very juicy with a crispy skin that clearly had just a little touch of cayenne pepper in breading to give it a nice light spice. both the coleslaw and potato salad were delicious but needed just a pinch of salt and pepper for my taste. macaroni and cheese was also very good. I would rate the meal better than KFC and Popeyes.

• 1/8/25A trip to Gus's is a must when you're in Memphis! The chicken is cooked to perfection, nice and juicy with a slightly spicy breading. Since there were five of us we got the 16 Piece Snack and medium sized Baked Beans, Slaw, Potato Salad, Macaroni and Cheese , and Collard Greens, plus the Chocolate Chess Pie (Whole). We're all full and have enough left over to snack on tomorrow! The food is delicious, you will not be disappointed!

• 9/26/24The food that I ordered was great. The chicken that I ordered was cooked to perfection. The two breasts were delcious, and so was the wing. The collard greens, Mac and cheese along with yhe baked beans were great as well. I was completely pleased with my order. Gus's chicken, you guys have the best chicken ever. Thank you all so much for an awesome meal.

• 7/16/25Wow! I'm a fried chicken fiend, and I'm blown away by the quality and flavor. The breading is crispy, extremely well seasoned, and perfectly spicy. The meat itself was tender, juicy, and the seasoning permeated through the entire piece of chicken. The mac-n-cheese was super creamy and cheesy. I ordered the fried rice as I was intrigued, and it was ok. It wasn't bad by any means, but it certainly didn't stand out. You get a lot for your money, too. The next time I'm in Memphis, I'll absolutely order again.
