Gus's World Famous Fried Chicken never lets me down when visiting Little Rock! The fried chicken is crisp, meat is tender, and the amount is spice is just right. The slaw is always an added compliment and is delicious. The chess pie is my favorite closer due to its flavor and pie crust. Thanks again.

Food was fresh & hot! The Fried Green Tomatoes were cooked well with crisp, flavorful. Good amount for money. Believe the reviews we should have gotten large macaroni! It's really good. Havent eaten here in a while..pleasantly surprised!

3 Piece Dark Plate was awesome- chicken was fresh (still crispy when delivered!!) good amount of food and the sides were on point! Would definitely order again, best southern fried chicken I've had in a long while.

Delicious moist chicken!! The Mac and cheese is too notch and I don't even really like Mac and cheese. I do wish they would offer greens as a side although the okra is really good. I just prefer greens and that's only an option if you pay for an extra side.

Gus’s World Famous Fried Chicken? The only thing world famous might be the size of the disappointment.
I’m not sure what kind of chickens Gus’s is using, but judging by the size of these pieces, I’m guessing they’re raising them in dollhouses. The chicken looked like someone fried a Cornish hen and then charged me full price for the privilege.
I came expecting “World Famous” fried chicken and got what looked like the appetizer portion of an appetizer. I’ve seen chicken wings at other restaurants that had more meat on them than these pieces.
The irony is impressive: enormous reputation, microscopic chicken.
Maybe the chickens are world famous for disappearing before they grow to a reasonable size.
Save your money and your appetite. If you’re looking for a satisfying plate of fried chicken, keep driving. Your stomach deserves better—and frankly, so does your wallet.
