The Fish Tandoori was moist and flavorful. I asked them not to make my food spicy and they complied. The food portions were generous and a big plus. I will order from The House of Curries again!

One of our dishes we ordered extra spicy (was great!) and the other was mild (came a bit too spicy). I called the store, not to complain, just to let them know. The employee immediately offered a full refund- I said not necessary- and he insisted they bring a milder version TO MY HOME! It came to my door within 15 minutes, was hot, fresh and delicious! I couldn't believe that kind of customer service! I will patronize this place for all Indian cuisine in the future! Best customer service in Oakland! Thank you so much!

Awesome & they actually listen to special requests: I asked for spicy and they actually made it spicy. Also best cheese naan in the east bay.

Glad they remembered I loke Ample Bell Peppers & Steamed , Quartered Potatoes in there ...even if they have to ' cut the qty. of Meat.
The portions are ' Generally Generous ', and their locations will generally have Chai Tea ready in an Urn to savor while we wait for our meals to be ' prepped ' !!!

I gave them 4 stars strictly based on taste.....didn't really much care for their tea or the big giant roti! Karela was good except a bit too spicy for my taste.... Gulab jamun..... I've tasted better. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the papad was evenly roasted, so 'twas crispy like it should be, and unlike a lot of other places out there.
And then there was the Mango Lassi.... all I can say is ..... Yummmmm!!
