HUG THAI EXPRESS is simply the place to go if you're looking for the best Thai cuisine. Our staff is welcoming, and our restaurant is tastefully decorated to accommodate families, couples, and singles…
Everything was delicious and fresh! The crispy chicken was perfect and the Thai was one of the best I've had in town. The notes on the food was cute. The taro tea was also perfect . Also the trays had holes for ventilation. I'd def order again !!!

The Vegetable Green Curry was packed with vegetables and delicious! The Thai Wraps (4) are a great starter, though a bit messy. I think enough to share between two people too. The Drunken Noodle with Mock Duck is very flavorful anda good portion.
Highly recommend asking for it spicier than you actually want because it's not very spicy.

Best Pad See Ew of my life hands down. The portions are good and everything arrived hot and fresh. I was afraid that the flavor would be bland as many other places I have tried before, but here they are definitely not afraid of using spices. I will be ordering again and added this place to my list of favorite take out restaurants.

🥳I'm so happy I found this place! I've been to a lot of neighborhoods in San Diego and I'm always searching for the perfect Yellow Curry. Hug Thai's is the best! It's so delicious, it's hard to stop eating it. Fortunately, I can usually get three meals from their generous portions. I also appreciate that you can exclude onion, which you can't do at all Thai restaurants. For a sweet treat, try the Sweet Rice with Mango , which is very tasty.
Food always arrives hot and well packaged so that nothing spills. Plus they write a cute note on the top of the container. 😀

The star of our order was the Green Curry. Lots of veggies and great flavor. The Thai Wraps (4) were fine. Good taste but pretty pricey for what you get. Ask for extra sauce! The loser was the Pad Thai! We usually get drunken noodles and opted for Pad Thai because of the reviews. It was the driest noodle dish I've had at a Thai restaurant.
