I usually enjoy my double play breakfast from hy vee. Up until today ive always said thathey I choose them over village inn and ihop any day hyvee breafast in my opinion is better tasting and you getjustas much if not more fora more reasonable price. but today I truly dissatisfied I ordered my usual the double play breakfast. But this time, I did a 1 order. My half order included 2 sausage patties, 2 scrambled eggs, and one Pancake. I then added toast.
My sausage patties were so dry and crispy that they didn't even taste like sausage. Anymore, in fact, I kind of feel like someone messed up and gave me plant-based sausage patties, because there is no way that this is real meat.
I could complain about my eggs. They were not as yellow and fluffy as they usually are or the way that I like them. But hey, they're eggs, and they were edible. As usual Best pancakes in the world. And still, we'll recommend for people to try hyvee meals.To go

We've ordered the Rainbow Rotini pasta before & fine with the size/price. I really hope what we got (a literal spoon full) was just someone's mistake on size for $6.99

Kids' Cheeseburger was really a nice sized burger for a child, also comes with fries, drink and cookie. Definitely worth the five bucks.
