Vada idli and pongal were awesome, perfect taste and Sambar and coconut chutney were also top notch. Tomato chutney is average , needs work. But happy with the quantity provided. Spoon could have been provided at least for pongal.

I think I have finally found the place in bay area that has idli vade like we get in Bangalore. after 15 years,the search has ended. If you want the softest idli and the crispiest vade with good sambar bad chutney, Idly express is the place. Cherry on top, you get tatte idli!!

The idly tasted excellent! Easily the best Idli in the Bay area. Sambhar tasted authentic. The best part was that I didn't feel guilty after eating. Good healthy authentic south Indian fare!

Where have you guys been hiding?
Pongal was amazing - almost like home cooked. Medhu Vada was crispy and tasted great - perfect. Sambhar was phenomenal!
Overrall, we had a fantastic Pongal day lunch!

I usually love everything from Idly express but today was disappointing. The tomato onion uthappam was so soggy I couldn't pick it up. This item doesn't travel well. The adai batter was so fermented the lid popped and water overflowed when I tried to open it. Biryani was tasty.
