This place is a winner. We ordered Family Meal #1 with teriyaki , katsu, and fish, with extra bbq chicken. It came with 6 scoops of rice, macaroni salad, and boiled cabbage (underneath the meats). The fish and chicken katsu were crisp and not greasy. Everything cooked to perfection. Enough for 4 hungry eaters or 6 regular people. It was a meat loaded dinner. Great value, very filling, and enough left for another meal or to pack for lunch . We are very satisfied with our order.

great portion of extremely delicious items. the fish is perfectly cooked and this is the best hawaii mac salad ive had. i love howit comes with some fresh veggies and the perfect amount of sauces. honestly best hawaiian food in town

The Hawaiian BBQ Joint has the best macaroni salad recipe. And I love the tartar sauce. My son swears by the garlic shrimp & bbq beef. This place is consistent and flavorful unlike the other such restaurants nearby.

Excellent meal, with this being our very 1st time ever trying iLava...great value and generous portions for our Family Meal #1 ; we included the chicken katsu, kalua pork and kalbi ribs...all were so delicious, flavorful, AND, a big plus, DoorDash delivery was so fast, the food was still warm and ready to eat...thanks for that as it makes a BIG difference towards "total enjoyment"....looking forward to returning and trying other dishes the next time...!!!

I ordered the Bbq beef plate with double Macaroni Salad & one scoop of rice. I love how the store allows you to make substitutions. The portion is more than enough for two people and the food is FRESH. The Cripsy fried Shrimp is AWESOME!!. Definitely my favorite location!
