This place is a winner. We ordered Family Meal #1 with teriyaki , katsu, and fish, with extra bbq chicken. It came with 6 scoops of rice, macaroni salad, and boiled cabbage (underneath the meats). The fish and chicken katsu were crisp and not greasy. Everything cooked to perfection. Enough for 4 hungry eaters or 6 regular people. It was a meat loaded dinner. Great value, very filling, and enough left for another meal or to pack for lunch . We are very satisfied with our order.

The Hawaiian BBQ Joint has the best macaroni salad recipe. And I love the tartar sauce. My son swears by the garlic shrimp & bbq beef. This place is consistent and flavorful unlike the other such restaurants nearby.

great portion of extremely delicious items. the fish is perfectly cooked and this is the best hawaii mac salad ive had. i love howit comes with some fresh veggies and the perfect amount of sauces. honestly best hawaiian food in town

The barbecue chicken was tender, delicious and plentiful. The rice was cooked perfectly as well as the broccoli and cabbage. I order from here often and it's consistently delicious. I recommend this restaurant to anyone who desires great Hawaiian barbecue, this place is the best.

We used to order Fries separately and didn't like it because all the moisture gets trapped inside the package and fries get soggy. Today, we got Fish & Chips and Fries are perfect. Moisture from potatoes are somehow controlled by fried fish. Fish stayed crispy outside and moist inside. There is also paper under the fries that we never saw in separate order of fries.
