Solid old-school American Chinese food that will satisfy your longing for childhood memories. Not authentic Chinese but well-intentioned. Best old-school egg roll I've had in years, with a crispy skin and thoughtful stuffing. Dumplings are thick and doughy (I prefer thin skins), fried perfectly, with a mildly flavored stuffing. Tangerine beef was thickly sticky, tangy and nicely cooked. Fried rice used broken rice, which only affects the texture; it definitely had an old-school, somewhat heavy handed flavor profile (which sometimes we just crave). The shrimp in the rice was the very small shrimp and perfectly cooked. The bbq pork appetizer I thought was sadly flavorless. The only dish I didn't really care for was the ground pork with tofu as it wasn't spicy but had a thick sauce and the pork was rather gamey.

undercooked cabbage in my egg rolls nothing spectacular about them. hot and sour soup had three pieces of tofu in it the ginger and the Bellflower root needed to be cut. it also wasn't thick enough it also has very little vinegar no white pepper. and the eggs were scrambled within it. I was disappointed because the first one I got was fantastic.

I heard good things about jade garden so we were disappointed that our expensive order was disappointing. The Tiger Tiger Pork was tough and leathery, the Swe and Sour Chickenet came with 3 pieces of pineapple, 3 carrots and 2 small cuts of bellpepper the chicken was of good quality though. The eggrolls were very plain and not even hot mustard could bring them to life. Beef with Vegetables was good.

I'm pretty picky with chow mein but this chow mein was phenomenal. The chicken was fresh and the flavor was perfect. The egg rolls were crunch and flavorful, the rice was fresh, and the soup was exactly what hot and sour should taste like.
