"I ordered the Construction Zone, which I absolutely loved. it was fun and convenient being able to build your own calzone. The ingredients were stuffed throughout the calzone and was very flavorful. The Pesto Stix were not worth $9.00. they were just ok in flavor/taste. I also ordered a 2 liter of Sierra Mist. What I got was a 2 liter of some generic lemon lime soda, called Starry. "I’ve given Sal’s a few attempts and each time has been mediocre, so I figure I would write a review this time.
I got the Bacon Cheeseburger, as well as the Spicy Chicken Sandwich. Both sandwiches were *fairly* warm, but the fries were undercooked, soft and without flavor. The sandwich contents were dry and unfortunately lacked decent flavoring as well. If you’re looking for an extremely average burger, this is a good option for you.
I only live 2 miles away from this place, so usually my food retains its heat on the drive home. I don’t want to rate Sal’s only 1 star, but I think more attention to detail and some tweaking to their overall standards would go far, because these baskets were simply not worth the 30-some-dollars I paid. Solid 4/10."

"Pizza looked amazing and the toppings were well balanced. The cheese, pepperoni, and overall presentation were all solid, and the flavor was good, though nothing particularly memorable. My biggest issue was the crust. The bottom was extremely tough—so much so that I couldn’t easily cut through it with a fork. Instead of being light, airy, and doughy like I expect from this style of pizza, it was dense and difficult to chew.
The other factor was the price. This was a fairly expensive pizza, so my expectations were higher. Given the cost, I was hoping for a more memorable flavor and a better crust texture. If the crust had been softer with a little more lift, this would have been a much stronger pizza overall."
