Hands down, the best sushi spot on the North Shore. I have never once had an issue with their food and I've probably eaten there over 50 times now both in house and through delivery. Everything is fresh and the right temp. Doesn't matter if it's deep fried tofu or sashimi, the quality is always superb. There are a lot of great spots in North/West Van but 100% I'd pick JL every time. Most reliable for quality, care, and price.
Check the spot out in person if you can. Great atmosphere and the nicest staff. :)

That was AMAZING!!! Crispy boneless chicken with sweet chilli an/mild but spicy chipotle... Greatest selection of tempura ever, mango avocado sushi-my new fave! Recycle-Able plastic ! Super YUM!!!

Fantastic sushi! I tried the chicken Teriyaki Dinner Set A and am super impressed with the price and the variety of things that come with it. Sunumono salad, tempura, gyoza, spring roll, green salad... come on! Very good value for your money! And it tastes wonderful! The salad dressing is also the best I've ever had anywhere. My first time dining here but definitely not my last. I highly recommend trying this place out.

Great quality fish fair prices, one of my favourite sushi places on the north shore. The Spicy Tuna Crunch Roll and Matango Roll are my favourite rolls never disappoints!
