ilocos empanada is very oily. it costs $7.99 at the store. i have been buying the ilocos empanada almost everyday, four pieces at a time and air fry them at home.
I noticed the empanadas are not same sizes. some are smaller than the others.
I buy both sisig and longanisa empanada.
The empanadas I noticed are getting smaller and smaller for the store to profit more as the customers are getting crazy about their empanadas.
I don't taste any difference between the sisig and longanisa empanadas. the meat colors are the same.
So l googled and watch on YOUTUBE how the longanisa empanadas are made. And there you go!
JNC Pinoy longanisa empanadas do not have the red color of longanisa and doesn't taste like longanisa in it. the filling looks like gound pork on both sisig and longanisa empanadas.
They are cheating the customers who are not familiar with the taste of longanisa. i don't really care much about the sisig empanada. it taste like ground pork.
i am writing this review for the customers paying $7.95 a piece and not getting the authentic longanisa filling in their ilocos empanada. the empanadas are by getting smaller and the fillings are less.
I want DOORDASH to publish my review.

I feel like I'm back home!! Wish I had a choice for the sauce option for the Lumpia Shanghai (10pcs) w/ Sweet and Sour Sauce. I love spicy vinegar more than sweet & sour. The Chicharon Bites are traditional or what I'm used too.
