I usually order from Kerala Swad almost every day and have been a loyal customer, but today’s experience was disappointing. I ordered 2 puttu and chicken curry via DoorDash and received the puttu completely dry, more like puttu podi than actual puttu.
I called the restaurant for a resolution and was told to come in person to get a fresh puttu. I explained that I couldn’t travel, especially since I already paid for delivery. They refused to either replace the order through delivery or provide a refund.
As a regular customer, this felt like I was taken for granted. Good food matters, but good customer service matters just as much. Hoping the restaurant improves how they handle issues in the future.

I recently tried their fish curry meals. The portion size was decent,the fish curry was good, but the quantity of fish curry could have been slightly better. Additionally, the shop doesn’t accommodate special instructions, so you can’t request changes like excluding certain sides or making specific adjustments.

We’ve ordered biryani from here twice before and it was really good. But this time it wasn’t the same — the rice tasted plain and watery, and the amount of yogurt was not enough.

The puffs had absolutely no chicken in there at all, disappointing as it used to be so good before. All there was in it was the pastry and no chicken
