Normally I love salted duck eggs, but it made the bao taste a bit dry. The pork and the bread was fine, I guess the salted egg pairing didn't match for me. I typically go for the bao with a regular hard boiled egg, which is my favorite.
I'll likely come back and order a different bao next time.
Mung bean cake was fantastic! Mochi part was soft and chewy, and perfectly sweet. And the mung bean was awesome! There are too many red bean options in Asian dessert when I go out, but this mung bean thing hits me just right. I can't seem to find it anywhere else like this.

I used to love the bao here but they've now changed the regular egg to a quail egg and i can taste the difference. I don't like the gamey taste of quail egg but I'm sure a lot of people do. Regular chicken egg is just my preference so i won't be ordering from here anymore.

Typically I love going to this place. But today the combination was definitely spoiled... unfortunate. Took a bite and immediately spit it out. :(
