• 2/28/22I am definitely picky when it comes to king cakes, but this cream cheese king cake is absolutely one of the best I've ever had. I have had cakes from half a dozen bakeries in NOLA as well as Chicago, DC, and Milwaukee. None could compete with this!

• 2/2/23My normal place was sold out. When I saw the coupon I figure if I'm going with a random place this year I mayas well use a coupon. I took pics but this doesn't support pictures. Cake was on the dry side. Looks like this batch might have been a bit over as it did seem a little darker on the crust. There was also very little cream cheese. I've never had Bavarian cream so I wonder if I was sent that in error as it didn't taste like any cream cheese I've had before. My cream cheese king cakes were always shipped with ice. This was just placed in a regular shipping box. There's a reason why one is sold out. Still dont feel like I got a deal. Every where that ships with ice pack is about the same price. So why is this $54? This got here in 3 days and I live in Florida. Would not have gotten if I knew it was shipped like a retail package. Ive never gotten food with dairy shipped with no ice or cooler.

• 1/26/23First time ever trying a King Cake. Expensive, but oh so worth it! I believe King Cakes are now my all time favorite kind of cake! Unbelievably delicious!! It's like a super moist/dense cinnamon Babka with vanilla icing on top.

• 2/6/23Last year, the cream cheese king cake from Albertson's was absolutely delectable and one of my favorite king cakes I've ever eaten. This year, however, was very disappointing. First, the king cake was quite dry. Second, I ordered a "strawberry cream cheese" flavor, but this wasn't at all what it was. In some areas of the cake, there was a plain strawberry jam-like filling and in other areas there was plain cream cheese. There was no true strawberry cream cheese to be found. And notably in about 30% of the cake, there was no filling whatsoever. I'm hoping this was just a random bad cake (again because the experience last year was such a good one), but this one definitely left a bad taste in my mouth.

• 4/14/23Cake was very very dry. Not much flavor. Will order again from New Orleans next year. Threw most out not worth the money
