I haven't had a great fresh tasting straight off the grill burger in a long time! I ordered the 1/2 pound bacon cheddar burger expecting a patty on a regular bun but ended up with a huge burger on a French roll cooked to perfection, the lettuce was crispy not limp from being placed into the burger too soon, all added items were placed into a sandwich big enough to feed two. I enjoyed every bite, each one better than the last. Then complimented with a few tater tots that were also perfectly cooked. I've been going to Kirk's since I was young and I'm really glad to see they never gave up like other hamburger joints that closed up shop. What ever your secret is, don't ever stop using it, Kirk's is the BEST in the valley and still going strong. I'll never stop eating here. Flamed burgers will always have a better taste than burgers cooked on a hot slab!

I have been going to Kirk's steak burger since I was in high school. The quality has always been excellent. You'll never find any burgers in the Bay area like them. Yummy, love, barbecue and smoke. You'll love it and they use high quality.Ingredients

I ordered the BIG SOURDOUGH BURGER (1/2#) (Deep Copy) and subbed a turkey burger and am completely disappointed. The turkey burger must have been from a frozen patty because it did NOT have the char flavor and it was flat a round whereas the bread was a large roll. Waste of money
