KUU is one of the better sushi places in town, particularly on the west side. They box up things nice, they have a great selection. I like their Miso soup more than anyone else's and I crave it when I am sick.

The Tuna Tartarte was very short on tuna. It maybe had a teaspoon of tuna in all. Too high a price for minimalist amount of tuna. Do not recommend.
The soft shell crab was good though.

We order from Uchiko regularly and they are about the same price point as Kuu but the sushi at Kuu was not at all the same quality. The sushi was loosely wrapped with the fillings falling out. The rich was overcooked and mushy. The cuts on the rolls were uneven with the wraps jagged and torn. The softsell crab had mostly shell and a very overcooked batter. The tempura was the opposite and very soft and barely fried at all. Each roll only had 5 edible pcs because the ends either had shells from shrimp or the stems from the veggies falling out. Not a great value at all.

Portion sizes left much to be desired for the prices and Truffle Sayaname was relatively flavorless. Garlic Edamame and Tuna Tartarte were good, but overdressed.
