My favorite arepa from there is La Llanera. Steak is always tasty and the veggies they use are always fresh. The arepa itself is always soft warm and never hard. Always enjoyed the food from here

The beef is well-seasoned and would be great if they used it as an actual filling rather than as a garnish. They cut the quality of the tacos by putting rice and beans in them, which dilutes the flavor a lot- it's mostly a handful of rice and beans in a tortilla, and you only get a tiny bit of the beef you think you're paying for. The jalapeño salsa was good. The salsa verde doesn't taste like anything.
The menu doesn't mention that they put rice and beans in the taco. If I had known, I would have gone elsewhere and paid the same or less for more value and flavor.

I have no idea how I lived before trying these Arepas. Get them. Also, the plantains were cooked perfectly. I am hooked!!

some of the best food in evanston. never had a complaint about anything I've eaten here. even their vegan and vegetarian options are delicious.

This restaurant is typically great, consistent, and delicious. Today, the service was terrible. An hour and a half after placing the order, the food still wasn't ready. Our poor Dasher had to wait probably upwards of 40 minutes to even be able to pick up the food. When it arrived, requested sauces and elements of some of the dishes were simply missing, and one of our sides was definitely cold, suggesting that it had been sitting there while the rest of the order was prepared. This seems to be a one-off instance, but it was extremely disappointing.
