• 9/1/24I love Long John Silvers. I especially love the batter on their Fish & Chicken, and I love the flavor of their waffle fries. Sometimes they undercook the waffle fries and hushpuppies, and they're definitely better fresh and crunchy, but that happens everywhere with fries and such. They have really good food, overall, and I definitely prefer Long John Silvers to Captain D's.

• 8/8/24I haven't eaten at a Long John Silver's since I was a kid and was feeling nostalgic, it's just how I remember it - coated in endless grease and a stomach ache mid-way eating to match. LJS is NOT the place to go to for a healthy eating experience, but that should be common sense, that's why I'm giving this place 5 stars.
Next time I eat here, I'll be sure to grab a grilled option instead, but they are still deserving of good business.
It smelled and tasted EXACTLY like my childhood, and reminded me of the reason why my mother stopped feeding it to us children. Very good, but very unhealthy - a solid 10/10.
In all seriousness: the coating on the fish, chicken, and shrimp is UNMATCHED. The crunch is excellent, though if you're not a fan of saltiness, I wouldn't go for it. The waffle fries are tasty, and the coleslaw is still the best I've had anywhere.

• 5/21/26My husband loved the Crab Cakes,Waffle Fries,Hushpuppies,and his fish.The coleslaw tasted nasty.Everything was fresh except the coleslaw. Portion was great.My husband orders this everytime.

• 8/2/252 piece Fish and Onion Rings were so greasy!! Hush Puppies good and Cole slaw ok. Need to chop up slaw more! I ordered Tartar Sauce and didn't receive any.
