My headline would be: surprisingly good
I've ordered Lucky Donuts twice now, and each time they've been airy, sweet-but-not-cloying, and blissfully free of the gas station aftertaste of subpar donuts.
My strongest commendation is everything I've ordered, I'd be happy to order again.
Jelly Filled with Strawberry Glazed: solid pick for a jelly-filled donut
Twist Sugar: very airy, very light, my new favorite
Cinnamon Twist: I was worried that the cinnamon glaze would be cloying, but it's more of an accent. I can also see cinnamon streaks in the dough, so their flavor is in every bite.
Thai Iced Tea: a little blander than I'd like, but solid pick. I fish out the ice right away to keep it from diluting.

Tuna Salad Sandwich: a sleeper hit! Great value for money, a filling $10 lunch for when you need to get that total over the delivery limit.

If you can't finish all the donuts in a day (like me), I'd recommend keeping them in your freezer.

A go-to for a quick, affordable, and filling breakfast. The #1  Ham & Cheese on Croissant  is delicious and well-portioned. Donuts are fresh and good too! Favorites are the Twist Chocolate and classic cake donuts.

The #2  Egg & Cheese on Croissant is hands down the BEST egg and cheese croissant I've ever had, the fact that pepper is added to the eggs shows why this croissant supersedes any other egg and cheese croissant.

The Raised Maple donut has the perfect balance of sweetness but not too sweet where it hurts your teeth.

The Vietnamese Iced Coffee /w Condensed Milk is always an instant go to because it is made PERFECTLY to how you want it (strength and sweetness)

The staff! Everyone is AMAZING with a specific shoutout to Jerry, Bobby, & Holly! They all treat you like family with tons of care, respect, kindness, compassion, and humor.

EVERYONE should be eating at Lucky Donuts! It absolutely is the best donut shop in the whole bay area!

Their donuts are amazing, I love their Chocolate Eclair's I wish I could order them every day but anytime I treat myself. This is the spot I go to the whipped cream is delicious and their chocolate is always on point. I even get their sandwiches which are delicious and they always follow my instructions. They even throw in extras every once in a while, my number one spot!

Loved the huge sandwich. Everything is fresh and delicious. I'm so glad that I added the scrambled eggs and the perfect avocado to the sandwich.  The cruller is wonderful. Fresh and puffy. I haven't tried the salad yet but it looks lovely.
