This is the best Ethiopian food I’ve had in all of Texas not just Houston. I’ve tried spots in Dallas and Austin too, but nothing compares. The flavors were rich, savory, and truly authentic.

The veggie combo from Lucy's is normally bomb. But, tonight...not good. The injera was delivered in a gallon size ziplock bag. It fell apart into multiple pieces, and almost turned into mush bc it was too soft. Next, the Gomen (collards) were bland and sour. The lentil stew had no seasoning whatsoever. Extremely disappointing.

The Awaze Tibs had a great flavor and spice to them. Despite the portion size, it was filling. They do not give you salad as shown in the picture though. I chose the injera and the two portions they gave were sufficient for the amount of tibs they gave me so overall, pricey but not bad.

man this foodMeat & Veggies Combo wasso delicious. I was scared I wasn't going like it, the verdict is I looove it! Lucy's in particular has a better taste, even the Veggies, cause I've had the other place. Lucy's was straight fye!

It was really good, but it was very spicy. The injera went well with it, and the portion size was good.
