The battered cocktail fish are beautiful they are almost the size of a large piece of fish , cooked beautifully, the small chips was enough for two adults and were nice and hot . I have now ordered a few times from it has to be the best tasting food and the best value for your money , you could easily feed a family and know that they are full for not very much which is great in these hard economic times ! 😀 Defenetly will be my only fish and chips I order from , Thank you Metford Fish and Chip shop you guys are amazing 👏 ❤️

Chicken Schnitzel Burger meal has gone up and quality has gone down under new ownership. It's gone from a full chicken breast schnitzel to part chicken breast schnitzel to now a chicken patty. Bland and tasteless. Picture still shows the original burger with chicken breast. Suspect this will turn other people away too.

My initial order arrived incorrect, but I was pleased that the store promptly contacted DoorDash, and I was quickly reached by support to resolve the issue. The correct order was redelivered soon after. The large chips portion was generous, and all the chips, spring roll, and potato scallops were cooked perfectly. The Pluto pup was slightly overcooked but still enjoyable. I really appreciate the store’s efforts to fix the mistake and ensure I was satisfied with my meal. Thank you for the good service!

Chips were dry and overcooked, also they didn't supply all the drinks we ordered and paid for. Ordered 4 plain burgers and 2 chicken and got 3 plain and 3 chicken. Chicken patty barely fit the burger it was very small.

Size of large chips is ridiculous!
Pay $13 and the size is smaller than a size small chips that any other takeaway would have.
