I remember having this outside of church one day and I know that they are parked now off tamiami- lot near a gas station in Sarasota. I was absolutely in love- salivating and still tell my friends and family today how amazing this empanada was. Both the roja and verde salas are FLAVOR. I had the shredded beef,bean and plantain empanada. It was hot, crispy, flaky, chewy on the inside and loaded with flavor. I have no problem spending $6 on this hand held treat. So. So good. This was my first and only experience there so far 5 months ago and I'm looking forward to it again.

Had these one time before and they were fire! Came piping hot and crispy which I loved But today they were on the cooler side and had a softer texture. Flavor was so good but the texture not so much. I'll try them again because they are fast and flavorful!
