This reataurant is superb if you want to treat yourself and appreciate getting great food for the price. Everything will give you that delightful "How did they do that?" level of perfect textures and complex flavors. I especially like the Duck Tacos (2), the Spicy Tuna, and the Soft Shell Crab maki sticks. The bonito on the Brussel Sprouts is also a hit.

First time ordering to go from here but I've eaten here many times. Food arrived hot and packaged well. Karaage was crispy and tender. Shishito Pepper were cooked well and very flavorful. Tan-Tan was delicious, the broth was still steaming, noodles had a pleasant chew and the extra herbs and fixings added a lovely freshness. Vegan Miso had incredible pieces of fried tofu that tasted very good and had a nice springy texture. If you're in the mood for good ramen and apps, this is well worth the price.

this first part is referring to the Tonkotsu .
both broth containers were only slightly over half full and these are 1/2 quart containers. I'd say for ramen you need at least a 1QT container thats 3/4 full. most pho and other ramen spots do that size. and the packaging just makes everything look small i was pretty disappointed when I seen how it came. quality was good but the portions is something you'd expect from a place thats in Santana Row which is sad for a ramen spot. this was the first time I get something from here and will probably be the last time as well. paying 20$+ for a 1/2 QT container of broth and maybe like 6-8oz of noodles and 4-5 slices of REALLY thin and small pieces of chashu really not worth it.
aside from that the Kakuni Bao (1) the bun itself was ripped in half but tasted great. and Karaage was really good and sauce for it was also really good.

Every review is one of two extremes so I'll be as honest as possible; this is somewhere you eat at, NOT order from. The Spicy Kakuni ramen comes in a square box with holes and the broth is in a tiny container - meaning if you don't have big bowls at home (like me, or most broke college students) you literally can't eat it lol.
The broth was delicious though.
The Karaage was well seasoned but overpriced for the portion size.
The Ebiten is much smaller than the picture and stupidly overpriced, it's some white rice with THREE mini shrimps. It came cold but I think it's supposed to be that way, so heads up. It tasted really good but man that portion size lasted two bites lol
Kakuni Bao (1) was delicious. Definitely reccomend.
I definitely won't be ordering again but the food isn't bad, just way too overpriced with really awful packaging (also adding a charge for plastic utensils is wild loool)

Both of my ramen bowls came with the smallest amount of broth I've ever been given. I dipped my finger in the bowl and it didn't even go above my first finger knuckle. Very disappointed in the amount of broth for how expensive these bowls are.
