• 7/10/26The Smothered Pork Chops was fresh and delicious. I really liked the mac and cheese. It was so good for a person who's a mac and cheese snob. The Catfish (A La Carte) was also good. They package the food for delivery very well.

• 7/13/26This place is legit southern soul food. We had the Chicken/Chop Combo with sweet potatoes and Mac and cheese. That pork chop was so good, I ate it with my hands looking savage while hot sauce dripped off. So good. Sweet potatoes looked meh but were delicious. Best in the city, hands down. The fried chicken breast was crispy on the outside and had great flavor, not too salty and super juicy. The Mac and cheese smelled amazing but for whatever reason wasn't cheesy? Not sure what it was but I'm sure it was a batch issue and not the recipe, will try again. The kids meal comes with quite a lot and my son didn't leave any meat on those wings. I stole his sweet tea and don't regret it at all. So so good, will definitely order again.

• 7/26/25The chicken Juicy Chicken Fried Steak was on point. The crunchy outside with yummy gravy. The Mixed Greens tasted fresh with a perfect flavor. The portions were a good size worth the money and the price is good. Cornbread was yummy too. I will for sure order and eat here again.

• 11/11/25True legitimate soul food ! The Pipping Hot Smothered Chicken and the cabbage is the best I have had from a restaurant in Arizona! Gravy could be darker and oxtails could use more seasoning but overall I was pleased! Portion size was good!

• 8/23/25The catfish, potatoe salad and cake were all excellent in taste, preparation and presentation. Although the prices have been raised, it is worth it due to the quality of the food, the excellence in preparation and presentation and the uncertain times we are in. When I call this restaurant, the staff are always patient and courteous in answering my questions and filling my requests.
