This is now a favorite restaurant to order from. I was substituted the sweet potato soup with the Jerusalem artichoke soup and it was absolutely wonderful. The spatzle was so delicately seasoned and had a beautiful buttery taste. The deserts were so amazingly delicious as well. I'm looking forward to ordering from here again. This tasted like real food!

At first I was impressed because they didn't have the soup that was shown on their menu and they actually had DoorDash call me to ask me if their potato garlic soup would be ok. That was fine. But then the impressiveness steadily declined. I received one lukewarm, 3/4 full container of the potato garlic soup. That soup was actually really tasty though. Then I received a second container of what I assume was a butternut squash soup. That one was piping hot and the container was completely full. Problem is, I hate butternut squash soup. I don't like sweet things and I am not sure why, after calling to confirm I was ok with the potato garlic soup they would send me this soup. I am also assuming that since the potato garlic was not completely full and lukewarm they must have run out of that too. Then I ordered the Cheese Pretzel. The picture shows cheese on top of the pretzel and the item lists pork, which you can see is on top of the cheese that is on the pretzel. I didn't get that. Instead, I received a horrible pretzel. I have honestly never had a pretzel that was so dry and had such a terrible texture. Thankfully they sent the cheese sauce with it. I was able to drown the piece I ate in the cheese sauce to make the pretzel more palatable. Oh, and the pretzel was literally cold. Did they grab it out of a fridge and send it on its way? Why was it cold??? The Side Spatzle was decent. I did like it but I have had just as good, if not better, at places that aren't nearly as expensive. For a supposedly "higher end" restaurant this was kind of a joke.

We ordered the chicken pot pie and it was absolutely wonderful, nice presentation, really flavorful, lots of chicken and well mixed with light and dark chicken. The Apfel Strudel and accompaniments were really superb. Packaging was inspirational. Nasch has always ranked among our favorites for dining - Tom Hess

Food came and looked great. No mustard was included but that's ok. First sausage tasted great. The cabbage and sauerkraut were tasty as always. Cut into the second sausage and it was really dried out and burnt tasting. Turned it over and figured out why. I'm really surprised to see I paid $65 to have charcoal briquettes delivered to my door because I've always had excellent food from this restaurant.
