my sister and I had shrimp Poboys. Usually i can't say good enough things about this place. The poboys didn't have hardly any shrimp on them. A quarter of my poboy had none. Usually there are too many shrimp. I would have been fine with enough to cover my bun. Then we ordered gumbo, guess what I grew up in Louisiana. The gumbo was so spicy it was hard to eat and I could taste the burnt roux. For the amount I paid for everything it should have been better.

Got the hot bird sauce from the Hot bird sandwich on the side and had some weird white congealed substance on the bun(maybe Mayo??? But it's not listed on the menu!) fried pickles tasted like dry flour and were quite subpar. Hot bird fried chicken could be cut in half and sold for $2 cheaper, the patty was excessively big. Fries are too skinny for delivery, just not great by the time you get them. The coleslaw was flavorless and bland.

Food is grossly overpriced. Chicken sandwiches appeared grilled because the breading fell off, and both were dry. Beignets were hard and seemed day old. Heard so much "hype" about this place and it seems like it was all marketing bs.

Worst Gumbo I have ever had in my life. Super expensive "po boy" with super cheap ingredients
