• DoorDash orderCreamy mac and cheese, spicy gumbo, perfect clean collards - sweet and spicy, non crumbly cornbread.

• DoorDash orderSecond time ordering from this place and mediocre at best. Bowl of Gumbo was mostly rice and the $6 Cornbread was burnt and tasted like it. If you want ok overpriced food order from here, but I will not be ordering again

• DoorDash orderFood is too little for the price the very reason I will never order again from the same store. I feel cheated because if I had not added fried okra the plate would be just fit for a kid. a small scoop of dirty rice and a slice of baby Catfish, with no sides as reflected in the menu picture. Though tasty.

• DoorDash orderThe hush puppies were overcooked, so they didn't have the taste or texture of hush puppies. The shrimp po-boy was fine. The bread was well toasted, the sauce is spicy just a FYI, but the shrimp was neither here nor there. The fries were thinner than McDonalds fries, they were cold, and limp.

• DoorDash orderThe Side Shrimp was really good. I paired it with the Side Fries. I only wish I'd ordered an abundance if it because the flavors hit just right. Hushpuppies are delicious and not something you should sleep on. On this dish, I'm conflicted. The Side Gumbo is so flavorful and delicious, but I can't handle any spicy aftertaste, so I couldn't finish it. Still, I was very impressed with this place and can't wait to try out other foods from here.
*My only complaint is the condiments.
