We order from here very frequently — my boyfriend and I are regular customers and have ordered from here almost every day or every other day. We’re very familiar with the food and have had both really good and disappointing experiences.
The gravy momos can be really good when they’re prepared properly and have that authentic flavour, but unfortunately the quality and preparation can be quite inconsistent. Sometimes there’s a good amount of gravy and the momos are fresh and flavourful, while other times there’s barely any gravy, the flavour is completely different, or the food arrives stale. When you’re ordering frequently and paying full price, that inconsistency can be frustrating and sometimes feels like a waste of money.
We genuinely like the food when it’s done right, which is why we keep coming back. Hopefully the restaurant can work on maintaining a more consistent quality and preparation, because there’s definitely potential for the food to be really good.
