I'm from Charleston, South Carolina and every time I come to Fort Lauderdale this is the place I go to to get my Cuban sandwich. I wish there was one closer. I'll be back in August so I'll be probably eating a Cuban sandwich every day for four days while I'm there.

Padrino’s is really going downhill. I ordered one entrée, an appetizer, and a side, and they still managed to mess up the order. They completely forgot the white rice and beans that came with my picadillo—how do you forget the sides of an entrée you’re packing?
And the picadillo itself was awful. It basically tasted like tomato sauce, and I couldn’t even eat it. The mariquitas tasted like straight-up oil. The quality has gone down so much. I definitely don’t recommend it anymore.

The masas de puerco and the chuletas lacked flavor and the meat was tough. The masas de puerco had a lot of fat. Very disappointed and won't order from them again.
