An authentic Nigerian food in the Seattle community, at Pass D Jollof, we cook with the freshest West African ingredients and use traditional recipes passed down from generations.
This was my first time having African food and I was very excited with high expectations as one does going into something they've been hyping up for awhile. It did not disappoint! The flavor of the Egusi Soup was phenomenal. The Jollof Rice Plate (Choose Protein) was probably some of the best rice I've had. Meatpie was yummy and it took us awhile after it was ready to get to it and get back to our hotel to eat and everything was still warm including the fufu. I was ecstatic. 100% recommend!

I had the egusi soup with goat meat and the pounded yam and it was so good! The meat was tender & juicy. The fufu was soft and fluffy. It was very delicious! & packaged nicely too. Definitely would order again and again.

This restaurant is amazing. For transparency, i've had complications with this restaurant initially because their portion sizes varied so much ( the amount of food and the amount of meat). It took a while to get the portion sizes under control, but the food always tastes great. As a Nigerian, I can swear by the butter leaf and afang soups. These may be specialty items since they aren't always on the menu, but when they are I always order! Definitely recommend.

I live super close to this ghost kitchen, pick up spot and I've been wanting to try it for a while. I really wanted to try their jollof rice since I've never had it before. Personally, the jollof rice was good, but on the dry side (this could be how the dish is, if so, my apologies!) but I decided to also try a new stew with some fufu because it just sounded so good. I never had Efo Riro before but oh my, was it good. SO flavorful!! I'm from SE asia so i love my strong and complex flavors, and i can appreciate all the different exotic cuts of meat included. this was seriously out of this world. and the fufu was so warm and soft too, the perfect texture.
The pickup was super easy, I was kind of shocked. you just walk in and enter your name or order info on a tablet screen (i think you can scan a QR code too if you have one) and then a locker opens up with your meal inside. They did forget my fufu when I went to pick up my order, but I was able to call restaurant while I was there and get that replaced! They were so kind about it and it didn't take long at all.
I think the pricing is a little bit on the expensive side, but I'm honestly not complaining since there's such a lack of african cuisine around seattle anyways. i'm willing to pay a little extra, especially since the quality is so good too.
Overall, I'm so glad that there's a good, authentic african food place near me now. and i'm super excited to order more types of soups and stews. Will be back again!

I loved it. I hadn't had eugusi in forever and this is the best in Seattle. I wish they wouldn't have left my fufu but it was still so good. Portion sizes could be bigger for the price but it was perfect and came hot and ready. Would eat here daily if I could. Thank you
